How does one go about finding a contractor to perform some subsoiling?

I would like to do some subsoiling on my tree farm in Northwestern Montana, but do not know of anyone who does this kind of works.

Any leads or places to ask would be appreciated.

Try the USFS for the area or the local / state Forest Service, someone will know of a Cat with a hook.

Call your local equipment dealers and ask who they have sold suitable machinery to.  Drainage tile suppliers may be able to make equally good references.
