LT15 - after I finish a cut and start the Head in reverse ...what keeps it from falling off the end of the rail if I hold it in reverse a fraction too long? Is there a STOP?? That I haven't seen or mounted on the rail. If NOT, what do some of you do to make sure that disaster doesn't happen?
Thank you!

Yes there needs to be a stop. I made a stop using a 2" piece of flat steel. Drill a bolt hole and used one of the existing bolts on the rail.
I am not home until next week. I'll post a picture after I return

I thought the bracket that holds the rope is the stop?

I'm trying to wrap my head around why a high end manufacturer would send a mill out the door without a stop at both ends of a mill.  ???

Hello,
The rope bracket stops the head from going any further.
Or are you talking about the idle side track bearing running off the bed rail?
I did see one bearing installed incorrectly from the factory. All you need to do is check the assembly picture in your parts book.
If you need more help pm me.
Thanks
