For all of you saw experts out there, I am wondering what to do with a Husky 385XP to get more out of it.  I'm not saying that I am not happy with the performance so far, but what can I do to make it really "humm"?  ???

First of all, buy a 390xp instead.... :D

Seriously, the muffler mod is the most cost-effective first step.

So does anyone have any good info for us on the 385? Saw Troll or anyone else, if a muffler mod is done, does that automatically mean you need to have a carb adjustment to richen the fuel mix?

Yep, open up the muffler and you will have to richen the mix a bit.  A muffler mod is the bestest, fastest, cheapest, easiest, most effectivist way to get some more power.  It will wake a saw up.
