just looking for a rough figure.  Logging in hardwoods 18-30 in trees. med to hilly land. I know there are a lot of variables involved.  For someone who has done it they would know how many on a good day and a slow day. any help would be great.

Was putting down 10-12 loads a day in 18-24" Pine Timber last winter with a 445 Timbco with Barsaw

dont have a timco we use a 493-d john deere buncher with a timco head with tilt we get average 275 to 300 cord a week with it keeps our s-10 grapple skidder and our666c clark grapple moving wood we have always used timco heads

I kept up with two skidders with a chainsaw [ thats just tipping ] 40 to 70 cds a day.
Third generation logger, owner operator, 30 yrs felling experience with pole skidder. I got my neck broke back in 89, left me a quad. The wife kept the job going up to 96.

i just bought a timbco  425b with a barsaw  on it  and i was wondering  what is a fair rate to pay my worker for running it  how much a load or what is fair ?
