Hot weather, air shows, and lost opportunities

The temps here in the great State of Oregon temps have returned to the high 80's-low 90's after a few days of moderate weather.

Just in time for the airshow going on overhead right now. I received six tickets in the reserved sponsor sitting area valued at $30 each and gave three to my grandkids and their dad, and the other three to my nephew and his two kids.

The nephew and kids were cooked after three hours and left. My grandkids and dad decided not to attend at all. So much for great tickets.   With the expected attendance of ~50k for the three days I hate to see something that could have benefited others going to waste.   At least I tried.
