watching some mill vids and came across this vid. I think someone posted something similar, but cant find the thread and went to page 5. if it was already posted, sorry.

he uses a boat winch to help pull the saw through wood. 

also, can anyone ID the saw he is using?

Looks like a Stihl 090?
that is what i was thinking too, but could see the numbers clear on the recoil starter housing. didn't know i could zoom in, either used or while vid/movies are playing. it even adjusts the pixel back to vid quality, up to a certain zoom level.

I'm always amazed at the work you can do with simple tools.  Bucking a windfall is never fun but a couple of times I though I was about to watch 'when accidents happen'.  Be safe out there!
