Why i chose a ctl to log with
One of the reasons i went the direction i went and a lot of guys forgett is a ctl is not a designated machine....i can do dirt work in the winter when forestry is slow and switch gears in the spring. I like thr fact that one machine can roll in and do everything, rough mastication understory, then change to cutting ...and skidding....once everything is decked then switch to processing and sorting....love to hear others thoughts.
