Here's our 2009 540 with few trees on. Day started out at -13 but climbed to about 20 degrees. It was a pretty productive day cutting ash and cherry. Just make sure you guys have fuel filters and 911 for these cold days. We put 911 in the skidder this morning just to be safe we also have kerosene in it. The skidder wasnt at 100 percent of power until about 3 skids in. It had good power put didnt want to go past 2,000 rpms. Now we might get 4-6 inches so it s going to be fun good thing for chains on all 4 tires.

Very nice looking Deere.  I haven't seen a nearly new cable skidder around here for quite some time.

do you use the white or red kero they say the red has a wax in it and will plug the filters
