Log Scaling Handheld Computer

What cheap options are there out there for a cheap log scaling system?  I'm looking for it to create vendors, load tallies, and ideally be searchable and printable, and be a standalone system, independent of a desktop.  So far the systems I've looked at start at at least $4000, some are more.  Any ideas?

Look at a company called timber tracker. It is software only and don't remember for sure but it runs on either a smart phone or a tablet. Not sure which. They have a website.

This may not be powerful enough for you . I use Sawlog Calc for Android . It will export and with excell I think you could do most of what you want . I use it for buying logs and for inventory . I use log tags and if you put in the first number tag it will automatically sequence .Its a very stable program as I have never had it crash or lockup .

I had that, or the Pro version, I think, on a previous phone. I could tally up a load of logs and then email a report to myself. Not the fanciest option, but for a couple of bucks it did what I needed.
