Hello the Fire,
                    I am looking for Info. on a state by state comparison of timber production. I don't need a lot of details just the basics, timber harvested. lumber produced ect. Any and all info. will be greatly appreciated!

You should be able to find what you are looking for on the Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) Program of the U.S. Forest Service. You may have to prepare the comparisons yourself though.

The US Census also compiles statistics in its Current Industrial Reports. I believe you are looking for MA321T - Lumber Production and Mill Stocks. I'm not sure if they break the data down by state.
