Title: Deere codes on 843J
Post by: Nemologger on September 20, 2018, 09:07:38 PM
My buncher threw codes today when it had trouble starting.  SPN 1347 with FMI 5 under it...next code was  SPN 94 with FMI 17 under it. Anyone know what these codes mean?

Both of those are related to low fuel rail pressure, the first code is related to the fuel solenoid that controls fuel rail pressure, if you have a bad solenoid or bad connection you may see that code, the second one is just telling you that you have low rail pressure while cranking the engine over, if it's an intermittent problem and the machine cranks and runs fine most of the time I would suspect a wiring or plug issue at the engine harness, could be a broken wire or corroded/damaged plug somewhere, ecm plug/harness or the plug at the fuel control solenoid at the high pressure pump, usually when a pump solenoid shorts out it just won't crank at all, being intermittent I would guess connection proplems.
