Jeff and Tammy did great again.  The forum sponsors were very generous again. Every year we make new friends at the pigroast. Home safe and motel reservations for 2019 made.  The ladies made their own facebook  group.

Thanks to Jeff, Tammy, their family, helpers and sponsors.  We had a nice time, met some new folks.  Did some wood talking, ate some good grub... 8)

Thanks Jeff, Tammy and the entire family for making this event happen and inviting all of us. It was a beautiful event, with great weather, great food and even greater people. Like Double Tree I felt privileged and welcomed to be a part of the pig disassembly line. Jeff's hog was amazingly good. We enjoyed meeting everyone and even left there with some really great gifts from the forums many sponsors. By the way Tammy you were right. That blueberry ice cream was the bomb!

We finally got home about 5:30 this evening.  Yes a long trip but filled with happiness.

Trapper and Gunhandle.

Pigman and Sheepkeeper.

WDH and Goose63

Yukon Cornelius and GAB

The next several pictures are of the Flag raising.  I won't attempt to name anyone but when the Flag was raised, everyone stood.

When no one (Jeff) was looking PatD attempted to drive off in MR Truck.  :o

We did have Mystery Wood seen lying here on the Andy White Memorial Bench.  No one correctly identified it without hints.  ::)

My Door Prize was this "Very Valuable" Walnut Bowl turned and donated by Gunhandle.  Thank You my Friend.  PatD's Door Prize was a box of Wood-Mizer Turbo 7 blades.  :)

We drove the further-est distance, 1052 miles, so I was punished for the deed and was given this hat to wear.  Oh the shame.   :o

Yes, the Blueberry Wafflecone Ice Cream was just as good as it looks.  cone_1 food6

Our trip home was not uneventful.  We stopped Sunday evening for Supper and when we got ready to go, the car would not go.  The battery had died.  It was so dead that I had to use the fob key to even open the door.  I then tried to crank the engine but it only clicked.  Luckily there was a WalMart within a quarter of a mile so I took a stroll.  A nice gentleman heard me getting the battery and gave it and me a ride back to the car.  Thankfully there was a "Metric" Crescent wrench in the tool bag so the replacement went smoothly.

I called the dealer this afternoon and he said that it would be replaced under full warranty.  :)

Again, Thank You Jeff and Family and all of the Sponsors that made this Event the success that it was.  Also Thank You fellow FF Members, many that I met and sadly some that I did not get to meet.  That's a good enough reason to already start planning for next year.  August 3, 2019.  :)

I would guess (judging from the not great photo) to be aspen.  A clue as where in the US (assuming) it was found would certainly help!

I enjoyed the posts and photos, every one.  Hopefully I'll make it next year. Like Jeff says, one day there will not be one to attend.  Thanks, Jeff
