Sometimes you get a moose.

I have created Gordy the moose for my neighbor Jill Dagger. From conception to creation, less than an hour. I knew she has a thing for moose decor, and somehow I got a craving to create something, So wallah. Gordy is now hanging on the Dagger deck gate. :D

Less than.    Having a big old gourd on hand and Tammy's sewing room with all kinds of doll parts and such in it speeds up the process.

Tammy has been trying to throw my gourds out for several years because they have been just laying around. I had three of them I planned to try and wood burn on.  I was looking at the other two this morning. I'm thinking one wants to be a bear and the other perhaps a coyote. We'll see.

Gordy looks much nicer than the real deal. Here is a photo taken by a security camera guarding some expensive wind monitoring equipment in a remote spot in the woods of Maine. A face only a mother moose could love!
