Does anybody have any knowledge of Fabtek harvester and forwarders. Looking at 133 harvester and a 344 forwarder. Is there years or models to look out for. I'm located in northern lower Michigan and there are quite a few of these machines available in the 10-15k hour range. I cut probably 90% hardwoods and looking for a good ctl setup.

We still have one of their heads on a JD653E in 17.5k we've put a Joral computer in it, rewired from the head to the boom twice, some welds, and now the timing arm pins bolts have to be replaced once every two weeks. The nice thing about the 133 or 153 is all the components are off the shelf vs Deere or cat made stuff that's locked up.

Skidmore lists the fabtek head parts of their website.
