Taking a holiday

Taking a week off in the mountains this week.
Left home sunday got 3 hrs down the road stoped for some grub. When we started to leave we got a snaping noise from the front right fendeŕ.  Decided that the top bearing on the strut was going. We drove down to Leithbridge AB . Then this morning we got both struts replaced. Back on the road. 1300 poorer.  I was looking it up and the struts are you recomended to be replaced around 100.000 km. We have 244.000. So they have done well i guess.
