When you sell logs to the Canadian buyers,  After they scale and sort on your landing do they cut you a check on the spot or  do they give a voucher? How long to get paid? Also,   If you dont have a loader you have to pay for one yourself to sort, correct? Also does the buyer arrainge flatbeds for you to load.

Thank You

Rob

Some mills from Canada that I use like example Maski Inc. is a hardwood mill that does arrange trucking usually they use back haulers to haul , or once a month they travel down here just to haul wood. They also will scale an cut you a check on the spot but most dont do that they usually pay on the following friday after they get the wood. also yes if you dont have a loader you have to provide one because its a very rare occasion that they have self monted loaders just flatbeds. I usually just have a friend come by with his log truck with self loader to load the Canadian haulers.. Hope this helps you a little bit
