I wanted to say that I am the happy new owner of 3 vintage tools.
Just received a nice 2" Ohio Tool Slick; 7/8" Strelinger Corner Chisel; and a 2" Greenlee Firmer Chisel.
Jim Rogers was very helpful with the constant questions I sent him, and the price and shipping were fair and quick!
Thank You Jim, I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
The price of 3 great used tools was not much more than the cost of 1 new production tool.
I also like the idea of imagining what they were used for, and the things they might have built in the past.

Thanks for your kind words.
I'm glad you got your package ok. From MA to AK is a distance to travel....

It is a fair distance indeed.
The little sports car in my avatar used to live in Concord, Mass.
In 2007 we bought it from the builder, he picked us up at the airport, brought us back to his house and fed us lunch, and the wife and I started it up and drove it all the way back up here to Alaska!
We logged about 6000 miles by the time we had visited some of our friends in the lower 48 and arrived back at home.
Still one of the best trips of my life.
Thanks again for the help Jim, I'm sure I'll be picking your brain with TF questions in the future and probably buying a few more tools.
