What was your first chainsaw?

I'm a little late here but I think I've said before my first saw was a  stihl, but I'm beginning to recall that i had a Homelite XL for long enough to get mad at it and trade it for that first stihl. I think it was an 030 or 031 can't remember for sure. DanG, that was a long time ago.

yep, mine was an XL, too. the old mans
i used it for a year, cut about 20 cord for my house and the farm shop, then got an 029super for x-mas. i think the ol man run that XL enough he knew id give up on the shop wood. :D
now its all painted up and sittin on a beam in the cabin. still fire it up now + then :)

My first & only chainsaw for that matter, is a Husky 136. It is just my size!  ;D
Women are Angels.
And when someone breaks our wings....
We simply continue to fly ........
on a broomstick.....
We are flexible like that.

Red SuperXL, It's on its fourth owner, still runs great. We have one up at the lake also, it was my Grandfather's, just can't see fit to get rid of it. Dang thing still runs great also, I think it's about 35 years old.
