If I can find a place would there be any interest in having a FF/sawyer pot luck dinner ?
Looking to see who would come
Thanks Bruno
I would like that. 8) A real Bean Sup'a ! :D
This would be open to any member that wanted to come.
I'm thinking about this because i don't think i will ever make the pig roast or the southern project because of my blood clot issue.
If folks didn't mind i would invite some other folks in the wood business not members of the FF
Thanks Bruno
I woul love to go but I don't think Nanck would be willing to drive that far to eat dang it any way
Something to think about. :)
I would be interested. Always up for a road trip. Especially with food involved :)
Ya I could probably make this. Like you the pig roast is something I cannot make but something here in NH could work.
Well its a schedule thing however I would certainly be willing,
I went to NH to buy my mill, no reason not to go for a meal
and some introductions.
D
I have thought there should be one in the North East.
Sounds good to me! All the best, Rob.
Do you have that much room at your place Bruno?
I would come but I am not sure us Vermonters are allowed to cross the river.
Peter
I would rent a spot
Call me.
I stoped in to see Peter today and we talked about the pot luck get together.
Peter is going to host it at his sawmill we would saw some logs and have some food.
Talk sawmill and meet people .
We need to come up with a date.
I'm thinking spring at the earliest so we could have some nice weather and folks wouldn't have to travel in bad weather.
Any ideas or thoughts please let us know.
I would also like to come up with some door prizes any thoughts on that ?
Bruno
Sounds good I will have to try and time my spring visit so we can come. Having meet Petter and seen his place I thought it would be a good spot. So put me +1 down for a start.Rod 8)

Personally I'd like it to be when the campgrounds are open. Are there any close by?
I also would like to see a red oak log RRQS demonstration.
Note: I promise not to bring any ground corn.
GAB
I'm sure they will search you at the border for corn, being on the grits watch list and all.
All Benedict Arnolds will be searched for contraband that does not belong in Yankee land.

Too bad I'm not closer, I had a bunch of Red Oaks blow down in a wind storm just before Halloween. Some of them are very nice. No way to get them there.
Probably should be late May or June, just so the roads aren't posted and the flatlanders can get around :D lol

4 wheel drive works going uphill too :D
Interested for sure! I read about Peters place in the Timer Crier (I think?). Love to take a road trip from Nottingham!
I'll go.
I will be down in late March or early April. But I can change my trip some. rod
Well Bruno, Looks like you have 12 or so might come, Nice. 8)
I definitely would like to attend, however I need to know what the date is to make sure I do not have a conflict.
Gerald
Let's throw out some dates and see what folks think
May ?
On a sat or sun??
I think a Saturday would work better for most folks ?
The Saturday of the Woodmizer Maine open house would probably not be a good date.
Gerald
I'm in! A Saturday in May sounds good to me. 8) :) 8)

I don't get on here much, but I'd be interested. Especially since I see flatlanders already mentioned. Scheduling might be a trick, but a trip to NH is never a bad thing
Sometime in mid May would be good. I think I would be up for a road trip about then.
I will/should be in Connecticut the 16,17,18 and 19th of April for trout fishing over in the Riverton area. So I am up for one the week ends just before or after.

I went across that smiley_furious3 Tarpen bridge there many years ago. Going was fine. Coming back I missed the sign that said,Chesterville. :D Man,I ended up somewheres that this boy from Chesterville should not of been, I somehow got back on route and headed North.
I avoid that bridge now. I think that bridge has been replaced.

I smell what you're steppin' in. I go 81. It's a longer ride, but so much easier on my feeble mind
Hi folks how about one of the Saturdays at the end of May 19 or 26 for the Northern (ICE) Project?
We are going to have some rep's from some places show up 8)
Bruno
Either date is fine with me, however keep in mind that the 28th is Memorial Day.
Gerald
Memorial day weekend is probably a no-go for me. As is being gone on Mother's day (Sun May 13)
Better the 19th than Memorial Day weekend for me, too

Maybe we can get the guys from NY too.
If we're going to have a party, Just saying.
One thing Bruno, This will be a booze free party.
The 19 is good for me.

Good thing to hear on the booze free post. The opposite would have quickly rose my hackles.
Going through your house Jeff to set this all up I thank you.
Bruno and I never thought to ask you first. Sorry.
We will be sure not to put the FF in a bad light.

Gents if the younger crew is allowed (actually I hit the 40 in October) I can make the trip up. Mom lives in Chester VT so I can make the day trip or use the truck tent , always need an excuse to pop that up. If MM can't make it I may use some air miles to fly him out, my friends who I share the forum to think he is not real, and simply something we sawyers aspire to reach full enlightenment :)

according to google maps is 6 hours and 48 minute drive for me. Pretty much due east. I would be willing to share a ride.
Usually I would not feel bad about out and back but I am sure good ppl is going to make me want to stay and that could be a very long day. So overnight may make more sense.
Do we have any age limits? be nice to bring my wife and 2 year old son. If not daddy gets a vacation :)
3 1/2 hours, that's doable for me. Will depend on timing.

I just saw this thread, and I put the date on the calendar. Be good to put a face to some of the members on the Forum.
Engineer, are you going alone or with family? I'll probably be going alone, since I'll be dragging mother to the EXPO the weekend before!!!! You're welcome to ride along; there'll be safety in numbers when we get over the Connecticut River.
I'll think about it, but it's getting rather close to an Alaskan Cruise I'm taking my bride of 50+ years on in early June.
The lovely Kathy just wrote the date in her calendar. whoops it's Prince Harry's wedding LOL
Wow woodmills, that's crazy.
My wife and I just got our invitations too!
See you at the wedding. 😆
Gday
I would definetly be up for coming for a visit and meeting everyone from up this way as my wife and I live in Center Conway NH
Regards Chris
I marked it on my calendar. That looks like a weekend I should be able to make. I'll likely bring something cold unless I come with a way to reheat something there, Driving time according to the directions on Peter Drouin's web site show 5 hrs 18 min. Then at my age there's 2 or 3 pit stops.
I know the day is a ways off, But, I have been moving and setting things up so we all will have room to move. :D :D
Can't wait :)
It gets closer every day :)
Want to keep this up near the top as it gets closer
Hopefully the snow will be gone by then :)
We just got 16" at my place
To save people from scrolling back through pages of posts to find the date and location:
This is on May 19, 2018 at Peter Drouin's place in Sanbornton, NH. See his website for directions: http://forestryforum.com/sanbornton/ (http://forestryforum.com/sanbornton/)
This is about 25 minutes north of Concord, NH, not far from exit 22 off I-93.
If you are looking for other things to do while in the area, this is not far from Lake Winnepesaukee: lots of things to see and do around there and some nice little towns in the area (my sister used to live year round on an island in Lake Winnepesaukee).
Can anyone recommend a good campground in the area? It would be fun if we could all stay at the same place. Maybe we could cook a group breakfast and debate the merits of Vermont vs New Hampshire Maple syrup on our pancakes.
I edited the first post topic. From now on it will be on every post. ;)

Or we could get you some from Michigan so there would be no debate at all. Don't let Don Staples see this post, or he will try to tell you Texas syrup is the best, and everyone knows, there is ony Two kinds of syrup in Texas...
To end any speculation. I've promised to try and make a trip east this year, but it will be for the Logrite open house in April if I can swing that. The last part of May we are committed to getting ready for the Coleman Veterans Memorial Concert which is supported in part by The Forestry Forum. (we take care of all their internet and web needs and volunteer where they need us. In exchange, the Forum gets promoted at the concerts.)
Ya'll have a good time and make the Forestry Forum proud.

Early season usually is not bad since it is always to cold and muddy. Hopefully it be good though. I like the idea of camping.
I'm interested!
I'm thinking about going to the logrite open house
I'd like to pick up some bench legs for some of my projects.

Ok thanks Peter, what can I bring or help with, I'm in Sanbornton every weekend just down the road from you.
When the gang gets altogether over here will put you to work. :D
Your welcome to stop any time.
Im looking forward to it!
Now that I'm having surgery for kidney cancer just a month before that, I'll need to see how well I'm doing. A long drive may not be very good at that time, if I miss it, maybe this can be an annual (or semi annual) event, and I could make the next one. If all goes well, I still might be able to come.
You don't want to overdo your self right after surgery.
How are the black flies there in mid May?
I have it penciled in.
The black flies depends on if there is a breeze at all.
I'm glad you are planing on attending :)
We will put a bowl of grits out and all the flies big small will come and drown in it. ;D
I hear that stuff attracts flies. :D
Just make sure the bowl is far away from us is all. ;)
Ok I found the post with the location. The date will work for me so I should be able to attend. I will figure out something to bring for food.
Will we be grilling food?
I was going to bring a grill if it's alright with Peter

You can't cook Grits on a grill . :D
On the food thing, Bruno and I have to talk about it some, I think with only 20 or 30 people coming, maybe 40 Bruno and I can cover it.
With hamburgers and hot dogs, potato salad, some green salads and cold drinks, water,
I don't know when we get closer we can get a better headcount. This is Brunos and my first time doing this. When we get closer Ross from Wood Mizer will let us know if he can make it with some new equipment he has.
In another place here Bruno asked If we can get a speaker here on drying lumber. And it was said that would cost $$$$ to get one here.
I think Bruno and I are open to ideas too. :D :D
Maybe I can get the group to tail the mill, use the edger and we can get 10,000
BF cut and sticked, :D :D :D

Well, that's good news. What will it take to assure that the only cooking implements we have are grills?
Maybe just best to take a poll to see what everybody wants to do. I have no experience around a mill. I'd be happy with some theory about setting up a mill, and why and how of some different cuts. I wouldn't want to suggest that. There'll be too many people who know all that already. I kind of think I remember somebody back near the start of the post talking about RRQS. I'd like to see some of that
Peter
I'm running low on sharp bands
I will be coming the way maybe this week or beginning of next.
It's getting close
That way we can talk about the food
Bruno
smiley_thumbsup
so, wait. How do I get in on this blade thing? :)
Have Ross bring me a super 70 we'll park it near the edger so that we can feed it, bring me logs and I'll cut you a mountain of lumber, and you'll have plenty of help to sticker it ;D
I'll also talk about drying lumber for free..in fact I'll give my speech now, you don't need to dry pallet lumber so fahgeddaboutit!!
:D :D :D :D :D :D
Bruno and I work out the food thing. Going to stay with the Hamburg and hotdog.
Burno wanted to cook a free pig that was given to us If we wanted. I've cook pig before too, To much work for a one-day affair. :D :D
Maybe next year. :D :D :D ;)
Couple of questions
Are many wives expected to attend?
If not how is the supply of antiques/craft fairs/flea markets in your area.
My good wife likes to travel with me and if there are enough to keep her busy she may tag along.
Also motels near by?
Quote To much work for a one-day affair.
I wished somebody would have told me that 15 years ago. I'd rather cook one pig versus 200 hamburgerd.
When I get a pig it's walking, I like to do it all from the start. Know what you have that way.
I would like this thing to be about wood, logging, sawing, drying, Eating would be a small but fun part of it. Won't be cooking 200 hamburgers. :D :D :D
Jeff your at it for 3 days, from start to finish.
Peter and Jim,
Your event is on my radar and I am planning to attend. May drag my off bearer with me. Happy to bring items to eat, yankee swap, donate to silent auction to offset costs/seed money for future events, etc.
Dave
Dave
Looking for raffle things
I'm bringing a wood working project
If some one wins it that doesn't want it they can pass it on to someone else.
I don't know about Peter but I would like it to happen every year.
I think us New England folks have a lot to offer each other in milling, logging, firewood, wood products sales and contacts in equipment sales rather it be mills, edgers, planers, kilns and tractors/equipment.
Thanks Jim
They only eat the pig for one day. We also make two other meals not involving pig. :)
I can't wait to put a face to the F2F name.
When I first met Peter he was just like I thought he would be.
He was a bricklayer like my dad.
Wood Mizer of NY is showing some interest in our party Bruno.
With Ross, we could have a yard full of WM iron. But no comment yet. ;)
I can help transport an LT-15 wide :). will take it anywhere. including canadice :)
That's great Peter 8)
No for NY, There going to some Pallet/ truck show in VA the 19th.
They go every other year.
Well maybe Baker can come in place of WMNY and bring Hank/Bluestreak and we'll have another sawmill shootout and make you a ton of lumber,,, lol
I wouldn't be able to stop laughing. Something about someone running a sawmill in tall rubber boots ain't right.
Well good, cause that means you're gonna be there!
I'm working with some folks to come and talk about kilns for small operations.
Keep your fingers crossed.
Also looking for some numbers on people coming Peter and I will supply the burgers and hot dogs.
Seeing what others might bring ?
Bruno
We are going to have some iron .
Looking for some things to have a small raffle if anyone has some idea's
Well sorry to say the kiln thing fell through
Too bad about the kiln thing falling through.
I can bring the crock pot with my wife's baked beans. Good stuff!
Since it is Pot Luck, y'all may be eating armadillos or woodchucks :D.
Woodchucks possibly, armadillos unlikely, unless a Southern member is attending. :)
Doesn't everyone eat woodchuck stew?
Count me in. My dad may also come along with me.
Are there going to be any guys from logrite there? I will be getting a cant hook just wandering if I should wait and save the shipping.

Thanks 51 cub

This is getting closer and I would like to start getting a better count for the burgers and dogs.
And maybe have a list if others would like to bring some thing.
Thanks Bruno

Still looking good for me. Wife owns a coffee shop/bakery so baked good or two will come with. Some old chainsaws too....
How do you guys feel about name tags?
I could get a pack if that sounds like something you would like?
I'm ok with name tags. It's getting to be a pretty good batch of names for my feeble mind to try to remember
I'm good with name tags, We all know names but not faces. :D
Will you be wearing the Good Peter or the Bad Peter?
:D
I always just say "hey you" then when everyone turns and looks I point at who I want :)
Name tags are probably better.
I'm good with name tags
Folks will know me
I will be the rounders one with a limp
If you don't want to spend any money on name tags we can just use a roll of masking tape and a sharpie to make them as people arrive.
At the last event I went to we used a roll of blue painters tape. It worked.
Jim Rogers
Name tags will be great. That way I will know who I am and who you are too. say_what
Peter and I talked this morning
The Project will start at 8:00 and end at 5:00
Folks might want to bring a chair
Just also want to make sure no one misses this it will be a good time
Bruno
can I play with the telehandler when I am there? :)
Due to my cancer surgery 4/18 I will not be cleared to drive that far this year. Maybe one can be planned for 2019.
Maple flats
Good luck with your surgery
Thanks Bruno of NH, my surgery was on 4/18 and it appears all went well.
I picked up some name tags yesterday
smiley_thumbsup
Add two more.
Looks good for me and my wife. I'll bring some Vermont syrup in case you have some grits that need sweetening up.
Looking forward to a great gathering and a good time.
Getting closer by the day :)
Let's make sure no one misses this that would like to attend.
I kinda want to offer up a rideshare but a little worried about it. I know some ppl about 20 minutes from there that I will be staying with so I dunno how it will work for everyone else getting around then.
Looks as though I will not be able to make it. My daughter is playing in her last basketball tournament for the year. I've missed too much of her season already, so I'm planning on attending this tournament.
Looks like 16 or 20 coming. 8)
I'll offer up a ride share if anybody's coming through western CT. I'm leaving Friday morning and staying at the Silver Lake Park Campground. You'd have to be willing to put up with a stop at Logrite to pick up a piece for @PAmizerman (http://forestryforum.com/board/index.php?action=profile;u=37229)
I'm getting excited ! 8) 8) 8)

Heading to my cousins place on Cossayuna Lake in eastern NY friday for a short visit and an overnight then on to Peters.
Havent seen my cousin since 09.
If I get away early enough may try to look 4x4 American up.
Getting the place picked up so no one will fall and break a hip. :D
Think I will use saw horses with 1x12x10' pine boards for tables.
I have some folding chairs, Maybe some 20" tall buttons with a 2x10 on top for a seat.
Thinking a 2'x4' box made with 1x12 set on/in sawdust and lined with plastic for a cooler filled with ice.
Gee Peter are you sure you have enough boards?
I'm looking for a good count so I can get the burgers and dogs.
I'm thinking 30 folks ?
2 Bruno and what type of salad is needed?
Who is bringing the purple drank?
Any type of salad would be fine.
Really? You must not have had the Grits Salad :D.

After spending the last five months hoping I could make it, I am going to have to put my name in the "not attending" category. My schedule is a train wreck, and it's not improving. I don't have a free weekend until sometime in late August.
Hopefully next year there'll be another one and maybe I can go. Still haven't gotten out to MI for the pig roast either, it's on my "bucket list".
As much as I feel I should remain home and get the spring veggies put in I will attend.
Wife will be making beans for me to bring. Being able to plug in the crock pot would be good.
Bruno can you once again post the location and time info so we have it at the end of the thread?
And I ain't drankin that Purple stuff either!
It's at A&P Sawmill

We have another meeting tonight and obligations running up through the end of next weekend.

All I can say is thank God I made it to Massachusetts in one piece.

Well, I think a good time was had by all.
The first demo was held in the morning. Peter picked out a log with a sweep in it. They then scaled the pine log and deducted bdft for the sweep. Then he sawed it out, pictures posted above by Bruno of NH. He edged all the boards and then tallied all the lumber to see how close we came out to getting the right number of bdft. Or to see how much we lost.
The log tally deducting for the sweep came out to 95 bdft (international scale). The lumber tally came out of over 120 bdft. So he didn't loose any due to sweep.
One FF member present had to leave early so we did a group shot just about lunchtime.

Missing was purple drank, crawfish and grits :D
The burgers and dogs sure tasted good.
I hope to do this again and hope more will attend.
I gotta say thats a good crowd for Peter's first get together.
Its good also to put faces with names.
Ya'll is a whole lot prettier than us in the South. :D :D :D
Some of ya is smiling some ain't. So I'm assuming the smiles are from

I guess I should have told a goat joke before I took the picture.

The next one we can have at my place and cut some slabs.
My place is no were near as nice as Peter place.
It looks like the hillbillies hideout with wood every place.
I will try to get my mill shed up this summer.
Maybe get a tent.
Do it in the summer maybe ?
Bruno
Let me know what you all think please.
I had a great time visiting with everybody, seeing Peter's operation and enjoying the food.
I made it all the way home 6 1/2 hrs arriving at 9:35 or so.
Pretty tiring for this senior citizen.
I forgot how frustrating driving on other that interstates can be in New England.
got behind a line of cars and a school bus going up mountains on Vermont 9 at 30 MPH for what seemed like an eternity.
On to the pig roast in August!!
Took some video of the quarter sawing on my phone but haven't a clue how to post it.
wow pete wouldn't have know it was you in the pic if they didn't say it was you the last time i seen you you where gray now your all white :D :D :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X
Petefrom bearswamp
It was great to meet you
I'm very happy you made the trip.
Some time I would like to visit your mill.
Bruno
It was fun, Thank's to all who came.
We did get a lot of flake from that Red Oak.
If I was in the finish hardwood market, I would cut it all that way. [reverse role] with big logs. The Oak I used I think was 18" top end, and not quite big enuff for that kind of cutting.
But, watch out for the backstops, All most hit one. Thank's Yellowhammer.
Gab was a big help having watched it in person at customersawer's.
Good food Bruno. smiley_thumbsup
Thank You Jim for adding names to faces, and Congratulations/Thanks to Bruno and Peter for hosting this successful event. smiley_thumbsup
Bruno & Peter:
Thanks for hosting and everything else.
I enjoyed meeting other members of the forum and their guests.
As far as purple drank is concerned at exit 20 off of I-93 there was a Wal-Mart and I'm pretty sure they
had grape kool-aid available and I could of brought a bottle (I think it is a quart) of 190 proof grain alcohol.
Personally I do not think contributing to someone getting drunk and losing their senses is the right thing to do.
Gerald
Good to hear that it was a good get-together!
Really nice turn-out!
I wish I could have made it, but I have several customers who all want their stuff sawn yesterday!
Nice pics, thanks for posting!

Say the word. I'd be happy to do this again
Thanks for the pic of all the miscreants and reprobates ;D.

Y'all make this old Millrat very proud. :)
What a great bunch of FF members and just a terrific time!! Peter & Bruno were the perfect hosts for this 1st of the Northern Project get-togethers--thanks so much to them and their spouses for their efforts. Some serious sawing/demos and we all learned something (big cheers when that oak ray-fleck showed up!!); and lots of laughs and stories--the day went by too fast. Even the forecasted rainy weather held off until later in the day! Already looking forward to the next one. Hope everyone made it home safely. All the best, Rob
I had a great time and it was nice to place faces from the forum. Im looking forward to another great get together in the future.

I'm glad your happy with the way it all came out Jeff, Thank's for letting us run this through your house.
Nilpuk
I'm glad you stopped in
I hope you can get your mill sorted out.
Try the 7° and 4° bands it will make a big difference.
Bruno
Jeff
I also thank you for letting us run this through the FF.
Bruno
Coxy, yes I am now pretty white on the cranium and face, but it was all well earned.
Bruno you would be welcome anytime as would any FF members.
PA mizerman is supposed to head home today if his car is repaired, lets wish him godspeed and a safe trip.
After taking 9 through VT to get to NH on friday I chose to take a different route on the way home. So I drove through Killington. Much nicer drive. I did notice the closer to home I got the dumber the drivers get.
I think I need to make a trip back up there and go hike Quechee Gorge. When I drove over it, it looked amazing.
Definitely a great way to spend a weekend. I would do it again without a second thought. Thanx to everyone for making it worth the trip.
Do like Yogi Berra said. If you come to a fork in the road, take it :D.
When I left home it said 6 hours took me almost 8 :) I put in start point and end point into my phone. Then threw the phone in the center console and only looked at it a couple times.
The journey is half the fun. I have seen some pretty amazing things doing that. Plus I rarely travel the same route twice.

You have to take into account that the estimated time is based on being able to maintain the speed limit the entire way. The GPS or computer does not take into account farm tractors on the road, pit stops, Sunday drivers, ETC.
Glad you made it both ways.
Gerald
it does however take into account the parking lot on I-90 on the way home. Was pretty accurate if I actually stuck to the route. But I like to make it up as I go. If I always followed the GPS I would never see anything.
if you use your GPS to get to my house you will see a lot it has me 3 miles deep in the woods on a skidder trail by an old blue stone quarry we do the ride every summer with the 4 wheelers i don't trust GPS i like an old fashion road map/atlas
Peter, I'd like to thank you again for hosting us on Saturday. My wife and I had a great time, and will do it again whenever the next time comes. I think she got more interested in the milling than she expected to, and had a good time. We took the scenic route on the way home. I owed her for letting me come, so we went to L.L.Bean in Concord on the way home; but then I drug her up to my aunt's old place in Warner to see how time has changed it (not really for the better). My aunt passed away in '66, and my mother sold the house to the neighbors that year.
Thanks, again. Hope to see you again.
Thanks all. Got home around 10:00
Gonna go get my car tomorrow. I'll elaborate tomorrow. I'm heading to bed now.
Good, you made it home ok.
Glad you made it OK Anthony.

Me to. thats why I just put in in as a reference and make the rest up as I go :)
Well the appointment I had to have my windshield replaced got cancelled. So I had my car towed half way home.
My dad and I took the truck and trailer out and brought my car the rest of the way home. I'm home for good now and don't have any more road trips planned for this year.
Now back to work. I got three more orders over the weekend. Things are starting to pick up.
Peter,
Did you quarter saw the other half of that oak? How did it turn out?
Yes I did Was full of fleck. :D :D :D
Sounds like all is ok in paradise, glad for ya.Probably an adventure you will not soon forget.
I also had a GPS error a few years ago, in fact 2. On one I entered my destination and it took me to a dead end, it seems a bridge had washed out about 30 years earlier but the GPS sent me that way.
In another case, I have a sugarhouse and about 6 years ago I kept getting calls that people could not find me during an open house event. Turned out the Google maps put my sugarhouse 4 miles west , but on the same road, in a different village. I notified Google maps and over the next year I notified them about 8-10 more times, finally about 14 months later I got a call from Google and they corrected it.
I sure wish I could have attended, maybe next year!

What - you aren't going to be going to the PIG ROAST?
Well we'll miss ya. Stay safe.

I forget who I was talking to about the exhaust mod I made on my predator, I think it was Bruno. Here are the pics. It was a 1.5" diameter pipe. it slid over the outlet on the muffler perfectly. I chose not to try to clamp it cause it was such a nice fit instead I added the support tab that should work perfectly. I did cut the excess off before the bend just to keep it closer to the muffler. Now the exhaust will not blow in my face, is not much taller than it was and is not a rain catch. I did put the flame arrestor back on it to keep critters out.
I thought I had some high temp black paint but unfortunately I did not so it is going to stay grey till I have a need to get some more high temp paint.
It is Summit part number

Thank you
That's was me
I will get one ordered
Bruno
I forgot to mention the spark arrestor is the same diameter as the pipe. I just used a wide hose clamp to hold it on there. More than likely it is going to fall off but we will see for now.
I don't know if you can get one that small, but I got an exhaust pipe expander at the auto parts store for not much money.
Bruno, on your way back from getting blades next time stop and pick up the legs I won at the party.
Peter
You won't use them ?
Today is the first time I looked at them. You can have them. Put one of the slabs you have on them and you can give it away at the next party.
