Title: To adm
Post by: Quebecnewf on June 16, 2016, 05:44:45 PM
Putting this here for any Adm.
I am having issues with the site as it displays on my iPad. It is all very small and of Center. Tried a different browser and same thing .

Has anyone else had this issue?

I get the same thing with my iPad.  Have to shut it off and re-start, then all is good.

By default the Ipad will bring up the "Mobile" version of the site, which is optimised for a small phone screen. Look a the top banner and see if that's the case.

If it is, there is a link at the bottom of the page that says, "Go to Full Site". Click there and you switch to the full version, that should work OK on a tablet.

Mobile site works fine. But going to full site yields the same small off enter screens. I always went to mobile site when I connected to the site with iPad then changed to full if I needed to upload a pic etc. Now it seems to go to the full site right of the get go. The funny thing is sometimes it is fine on the full site on the first page but when you move around to another page it goes small. Both browsers give the same problems. Weird .

OK, in that case I'd go with Bate's suggestion of doing a restart on the Ipad.

I just checked the site on the daughter's Ipad and it's fine, which suggests the gremlin is in yours. A reboot should clear it.

If the gremlin remains, clear the website's data (cache)

Settings
Safari (assuming you're using Safari)
Advanced
Website Data

Then you can clear just the Forum's data from the long list
Or all website data

You will have to login to your websites again.
