Axe Handle Hound

Just a short clip of a steam powered sawmill being run during the 2013 Richfield Historical Society Thresheree.  Thought some of you might enjoy seeing it in operation.  They were cutting some fairly skulchy green ash during this video.  Looked like they were getting a board or two off each side, but the center had some heart rot.

only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

Looks like the steam engine was ready to go into overdrive when he got into the log.  ;D  I suppose other steam powered stuff was there? Not much steam powered events this far North.  :(
