I've been wanting to finish this video for some time.

I finally finished it but it was very large so I made two parts.

Here is part one:

Thanks, nice video.  For a non timberframer, like myself, I was impressed.  We don't have much (IMO) timberframing in the South, I wonder why, termites?

Will you have another video, showing completion details?

I know a lot of timber framers from the south, so don't count them out.

I've taught in Texas and Mississippi as well.

This frame is still standing here in my yard for sale. I hoped to sell it a long time ago. I have dropped the price a lot to try and move it. But times are tough and it hasn't sold.

Each frame can be fitted out differently and that choice is the customers.

We did raise a similar frame and the customer did send me some pictures of that frame he cut for his daughter and son in law.

Here is the way he enclosed their frame:

Above you can see he made the double doors on the gable end for the lawn tractor to go into the shed. I don't see the ramp, so maybe the add on on the outside is where the lawn tractor is now.

He added a beam out the gable end for a swing for his grandchildren.

He made a side door for access to the shed. And it looks like it's a "Dutch door".

To let in natural lite he put in some sky-lites between the rafters.

Here is his address tag over the door:

I think he just put it up there for fun.

I believe he used 1" boards for the roof and first floor decking. And tongue and v-groove vertical siding.
He added windows and the lean-to on the side. I did not draw the lean-to frame.

Some sheds can be fitted out with horizontal siding.

Some sheds can be fitted out with 2" decking on the roof and first floor. When you do that the 2" roof decking is usually tongue and v-groove which can span 4' between rafters. So that means fewer rafters to cut and install.

I hope this helps you to understand how shed can be finished off.

Thank you for the pictures and response.  The shed turned out well.  Cedar shingles?

Thanks.

Looks good Jim, but i'll have to watch the vids tomorrow at work.  I'm sure they will prove to be helpfull as I plan on doing my first timber frame project shortly.  It will be a small shed to store chain saws, splitter and the like.
