bolts!

Tried my monkey saver blades today at a customer site with red & white oak, poplar, hickory.    Cut about 450 bf of hickory, 150 bf of red oak and 300 bf poplar before I had to change the blade.

Started on the white oak with a new blade.  Cut one board (about 4 bf)  and one log clamp bolt.   ::)   Didn't even cut it.  Just scraped it.  DanG blade wouldn't even cut air after that!  ;D

Changed the blade and cut another 500 bf of whit oak and 350 bf poplar.

Man I like those blades!  8) 8)

Can anybody recommend a place to get them sharpened on the east coast?   ???
Been there, done that.   Never got caught [/b]
Retired and not doing much anymore and still not getting caught

Tom

We have a member from Tenn. who sharpens blades and advertises in the "services" threads of the commerce topic.  He hasn't attended in a long time but his advertisement is still there.

Old Age and Treachery will outperform Youth and Inexperence. The thing is, getting older is starting to be painful.
