That's what I thought..I wonder how much faster that wears the blade out with him twisting 180 degrees at times?

You'd want a narrow blade and the guard drawn down low to the table, but you can make some sharp turns on a band saw, but I wouldn't try to many sharper than a 3" radial arc or your dancing with the finger snatcher. :D It's a lot easier to do that kind of stuff in butternut and white pine because it so soft, but you get complaisant with safety and that invites a bad lesson.
