Title: Can extra blades be stored as shipped?
Post by: Lookin4GoodLife on November 11, 2018, 10:25:39 AM
I bought an HM126 this summer.  Due to work/time constraints I only recently got it together and cut my first board.  I bought a 10 pack of extra blades with the mill.  The blades are still wired up as they were shipped and hanging on my shop wall.  My question is, are they ok to be stored like that, or do they need to be released from the tension?  I didn't know if it would hurt the metal if they remained bound up like that.  Thanks.

I asked the blade guy at one of the Woodmizer owners day get togethers this question and he said no problem.
