does anyone know what the little screw on the side of the injector that faces the valve cover do the rubber o ring or gasket is leaking on 3 of the injectors  what is a good way to get that little seal thing on the bottom of the injector to start straight  the first one got messed up and was letting compression pass by

I always put those little white seals in hot water before installing them, makes them more plyable. Don't install them right away after putting them on, let them sit for a half hour or so to shrink to proper size. Also clean out the bore with a gun brush or the seal won't last very long.

this is a direct injection 3304 motor

Coxy,

no haven't had time to make any calls  my motor runs good but don't have any where near the power the direct injection motor has

So my curiosity got me looking today.
Seems the 3304 and 06 series use an 8n7005"Pencil" injector,
By what I read they can be tough to remove even with the special Cat tool.

Anyway, I found this link which is hard to read
however,  it shows a cross section view of the injector
and it states the screw is a Purging Screw.
There is also some guidance on leakage.

If they are leaking it may be part of the low power condition you indicated
Not certain I really added any value other than
I learned a bit more about Cat 3304's.
