Any one in sawing land using a multi head band saw to break down logs into boards or what ever?

I have used our WM to cut one face on small logs(4").  After we had a couple hundred, we ran them through the 2 head resaw and edged the lumber as it came out, making 7/8" lumber by 3 1/2 to 4".  Worked well.  Did it more or less as an experiment to see how well it worked.  Did a good job and is profitable.  Have other markets for 4 inch logs now.

also split 4" logs on a long wood splitter.  Needed to make lumber with one face having a split wood look. Ran the split half, face down through the resaw. Came out ok.  Then edged the wood to give it 2 straight edges.  Made a nice ceiling for Disneyworld.
I am in the pink when sawing cedar.
