As requested, the Jack Daniel dark chocolate pecan pie recipe

1 pie crust (preferably pate brisee)

3 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 cup dark corn syrup
1 Teaspoon vanilla extract (preferably real)
1/4 cup Jack Daniels Whiskey (or gentleman jacks)
1/2 cup dark chocolate semi sweet chunks.. I use 62% cacao If they look lonely, toss in some more)
1 1/4 cup pecans

In a mixing bowl, beat everything together except the chocolate and pecans. Sprinkle the bottom of the pie crust with the chocolate. Add the pecans. Pour the mixture over everything. Bake at 375 for around 40 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean.

I do not recommend this pie if you are on a diet.

I gained a half pound just reading it.  :D

I'mafraid I would need more than 1/4 cup of Jack. At least that much for me just for opening the cap.  :D
