Maple burl tree

i really know nothing to speak of when it come to info on trees but is the maple tree i got have a burl in it ? it might have to be removed just don't wont to wasted some good wood if it could be used for something nice. there are more than one tree that has this look at the farm. next thing is there much value for just one tree ? they are still living but have some dead branches. it's located is S.W Manitoba no commercial mill's any near by. thanks martin

That will produce some outstanding figured and very valuable lumber.

thanks. when is the best time to cut it /pull it out or should i let it keep growing as some of it still alive and dose not need to be move right now.

You should cut it down and bring it to my mill NOW, before it spoils...:)
