Title: hard pull
Post by: chuck172 on May 05, 2018, 11:51:00 AM
I have two husky 61's. Both have got to be very hard pulling to start. Seem like the compression is too high . What causes this?

Pulley or rope.
Carbon buildup.
Excessive fuel mix or chain oil in the crankcase (hydrolock).

Maybe the rope has been changed to a thinner rope, or maybe the pulley has cracked.
