Trying Something New

We lost a tire on the forwarder yesterday.  It's been bad for a while.  We had a boot put in it this spring, moved it from the back to the front to take some stress off it, hoped for the best and I guess we got it.  I'd actually forgot about it.  The tire place broke it down and the tear is bigger inside and recommended that it be replaced.  Johny said he could boot it again but the inevitable is closer and it may not last a day.  He's been doing tires a long time.  We went to school together.  He's a year older than I am.  So they priced me out a new 18.4X26.  I'm going with Samson this time.  I'm a diehard Firestone guy but for almost a grand less I'm willing to take a chance and try something new.  They've sold 8 of them the last few months and everyone's been happy with them.  Tire will be in tomorrow AM.  I hope it gets along with the three Firestones on machine.
