The new Grinder finally arrived today! Big investment to eliminate most bottle necks.  Ran two loads through it today along with lots of training, tomorrow more grinding and training.

 What kind and how many hp? How many truck loads or ton a day you expect from the grinder?

More action pics this evening. The machine is a Rotochopper with 765 horsepower. It will run 100 yards of cedar in 30 minutes.

NO kidding thats a lot of grinding. Is that 3 semiloads an hour? PC
life is too short to be too serious. (some idiot)

There is only a 350 gallon fuel tank on it. :o

Does This unit have Debarker flails on it so you could have clean Mulch no bark?

The bark disintegrates into very small particles or fuzz that disappears.  The needles do the same magical disappearing act.  It is a very dusty operation.
Oklahoma State University just finished a 3 year study of different mulches and cedar is as good as any, longer lasting and more insect repellant than other mulches.
Aaron is as giddy as a little kid with his new toy.

I bet if you ever got that thing stuck, it'll be stuck but good.

Think you'll have to put down matting to go over anything but dry and packed soil?
