Today I have picked up this short log from the municipality yard. Could not recognize what is that tree is. I have picture of the leaf and the barks, hopefully some one will recognize what kind of three is this. It is hard wood I am going to mill it this week.
Thanks.

That looks like a silk tree.  It produces a ton of flowers that have maybe 2" long red or pink stringy things (like silk thread only thicker) and turn into 6-8" long "beans" that are really flat.  The seeds look kind of like watermelon seeds.  Extremely prolific.  If there is one tree, there will be 1,000's of seedlings the next year.

Could also be Mimosa. I think I remember seeing them in Qatar when I was there before. Look at this one in the link.

:D Mimosa and silk tree are the same thing, just different names.

By the looks of the leaves it is some type of legume tree, that makes beans like was mentioned. No idea of species, but that group of trees tends to grow dense rot resistant wood. :)

Not mimosa as mimosa leaves are bi-pinnate compound.  These leaves are single pinnate compound, like in a black locust.  Looks like a type of locust or acacia.  Definitely in the Legume family.

Could it be some type of mesquite?  I'm not that familiar with them but the leaves look similar to some I saw in Texas.

sandhills

my first guess was a locust also, leaves look just like the ones in my yard but the bark doesn't look right, I'll leave this one up to the experts.

Alsayyed, did the tree have thorns? Maybe this is what I remember seeing when I was in Doha.

Could be from the genus Albizia.  Mimosa or silk tree is also in this genus.  Some species of Albizia have pinnate compound leaves whereas Mimosa has bi-pinnate compound leaves.
