What does this?
« on: May 16, 2018, 08:59:46 AM »
As soon as it warmed up and the leaves popped out my maple tree has been losing the ends of its branches.  Every morning I go out and there is a few more of these branches in the same spot.  I see no evidence of any kind of nest and wherever these branches are coming from it is too high for me to see.

Would squirrels do this?  We have had some squirrel damage to our house and bird house in that same area.

I see that when a squirrel is attempting to build a nest and can't seem to get it right.

Well then he is mighty persistent!

I'll have to keep an eye out for him.

Thanks

I occasionally see a pile when the whole thing breaks loose, falls, and the squirrel has to start all over again.  :-\

All I have to say is he better not let me see him or he will end up like the one who ate through the louver to get into my attic.

Got him right as he was coming out!

When you put a new vent it add hardware cloth to the front.
It keeps the critters out.
I replace 20 a year at the condos because of that reason.

We had hardware cloth on the inside and he gnawed through that as well!  So I had to take matters into my own hands.

I'm telling you we have the most persistent squirrels.  And for everyone we kill it seems like 2 or 3 come to takes its place.

I almost think they multiply when I shoot them.  :o  :D Yes you are right. Get rid rid of 2-3 and there is still the same amount. I know they are not coming out of the OWB. ;D
