I usually dry hardwoods but I have been asked if I could dry 4 12/4 pine boards for a charity project. Is there anyway to put these in with a hardwood load of any sort to get them dryed down. ???
A little background info. I use a conventional kiln 40000ft. Mostly maple, cherry, walnut and Hickory
Thanks
Since the hardwood is on a slower schedule, and since the pine is thick and needs to dry slower, it would seem to be a fairly good match.
And besides that, how can you hurt pine. The problem I see is setting the pitch.
