"Air Drying" Ash in Kiln

High All!  Is it feasible to load my kiln with 18,000bf of 4/4 ash and run the fans only for about a six day period.  I will be out of town and have no one who can run the kiln, but someone who can manage the fans..  I'd like to lower the moisture content, to save later time in the kiln.  I would run fans all the time, with exhaust intermittantly.  The kiln is in a large industrial building where the temperature is 50-55 degrees now.  The lumber is air-dried about a month.  My main concern is staining the lumber.  Any risk of that?  Thanks!
