I've been on the forum for a couple of years, just reading and learning, but never posting. I got the milling bug about four years ago when some family members brought a Woodmizer down from Pa. and we milled 3000 bf over Thanksgiving week.
Four years later, I've   finally got a mill of my own. Me and a lifelong friend left at 5 am this morning and drove to tn. and picked up a used lt28.
Thanks to all the forum members for posting; I really enjoy learning from your post. Thanks to all of you that I've annoyed with pm's .
Probably a good thing they're calling for rain tomorrow; I think I've slept 4 hours the past 2 days. Time for a nap after church Sunday!

Chad,

Congrats on making your decision. I know you will enjoy milling.

Congrats on the mill as well, having a plan and sticking to it is critical for sure,  it's not rocket science, with the exception of the amount of sweat evolved.    david
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,
