I am working on a hemlock salvage of a stand infected with Wooly Adelgid. Infestation is so bad at times it looks like snow flurries from all the white falling. Has anyone cut much HWA hemlock. I am
Not allergic to anything-no poison I've y, bees/honeys, pollen, hemlock saw dust, aspen, nothing. And after a week of this my eyes are all red and stinging..just wonder if anyone else had experience with it. No respiratory issues just eyes feel like have smoke in em...😂
I havent a clue as to why this has happened to you, good luck with a cure.
We are lucky here, no HWE yet but it is coming.
Is it possible the fines of the saw dust are getting to your eyes? Might try some googles for a day or so just to see if it helps.
Might not be a bad idea to wear a dust mask. That sounds bad.
I think hemlock can be an irritant, especially with prolonged exposure.
