I don't think it's ironwood or Arizona Walnut. Doesn't look quite right for either of those.

I gave Mequite a good look, and, although it looks somewhat similar, I don't think that's it either.

Kinda looks like hackberry but the color is wrong.

I am surely not an expert on them so I must admit I have no clue as to the proper name of the specific type.
Does this one grow on the desert floor or on high ground and in zones of more rainfall?
