I want to add a 6 x 24 (already have slab) Timber Frame Entry Way to my existing stick built home. I can find info, etc of the entry way, But I haven't been able to find much info on tieing it into the existing home (especially the roof). Can someone point me to a good source web/book/etc. for specific information doing something like that.

Below is a photo that is very similar to what I want to do. I know not a great photo but closest I could ifnd to what we want to do.

Welcome to the forum.

Can you post a picture of the existing home showing pad, roof line, etc.  ??

Neat looking entry, and thanks, as it gives me some ideas.

This is a little old, before I had all landscaping, sidewalks done, but I think shows what you need to see.

In case its hard to tell in the photo, the house is Stick Built, with Western Red Cedar Log Siding.
