My kids and their friends are at the race.
I had an opportunity to go but have had my fill of crowds.
Hoping Michael Waltrip or Jr. win today.

I'll be rooting for Danica  ;D

They've had enough and are headed back.
The Radar has Daytona and north to Georgia covered in rain with it moving south.
Doesn't look good for a few more hours.

I'm hoping the race gets a re-start today!
I've been getting so built up for this race, I hardly slept last night. NASCAR racing is my sport.

I watched the start of the race......then the guy shows up to fix my well pump....took all afternoon.
When I came in, I saw Jimmie Johnson cross the finish line.
So what was I watching???????

I thought it was kinda odd they was showing that race. Yes,it was a good race, and yes they needed a race to fill in,but why a race at the same course?? I bet ALOT of people just went to check on the race for a minute and did the same too. I went outside for a while and came back in and the wife said the race was back on. I came into the room and saw Danica was in 3rd place.  :o   Than I came too.

Didn't get to see any of it after the rain delay and hardly any of the start do to cooking (hey, you gotta eat too), but in our little pool we pick numbers, lowest gets to pick his/her driver first and work up from there.  I got number 8 and picked Jr.  ;D, just wish I could've seen the end of the race!  Think I'll donate the winnings to next years meal  :).

The real olympics gave this guy a real hard time. I have no idea if they are having one this year or not.

I'm not a huge NASCAR fan but I do follow it and got to see the race, thanks to it being a nighttime race. :D  But am I mistaken in thinking #3 didn't make many friends last night?

Glad to see Jr win, kept expecting 'something' to go wrong and thought the piece of tape was 'it'.  Bet he made the ppl in the pace car nervous! :D

The race was worth staying awake later than normal, I wish David Ragan would have been up front but I'm OK with Jr winning.
