This site has really helped me a lot as I crank up my e classic 2300.  Will users of this boiler tell me what length wood they're using?  I'll be ordering in the next day or so and would like to know what's worked for folks.  Thanks.  Tim

Hi Tim,
I cut 16-18" but I was putting the wood opposite to what Central says. This seemed to avoid bridgeing and allow for better air flow with the side ports. I also tended to place the wood towards to door, as the back seems cold. I have had some problems with the unit and with CB. My stove is now shut down for the summer

I cut mine 18 inches.  That is what I cut before I had an E-Classic and it woorks well for that.  I also load sideways and it does help a lot with the bridging.

I burned 30" last year and that worked great.  This year I'm burning 22" because I'm using a new wood delivery guy.
