Blew a tire on the 548d this afternoon. Buddy in another town an hour away has a 540b and is willing to sell me tires and rims.  I think mine are 28 26's but I'm not sure. Looking at deers website all I could find on older equipment was a 548e had 28L 26's. I assume the 540b does too. Don't want to mix match and screw up planitaries, drive train, ect. Does anyone know if tires on the 548d and the 540b are the same? No writing on the tire.

some of the ...b's...... had 18.4  34  so its hard to say

You could get him to measure the diameter of his rim-if it measures 34" it is an 18.4-34 . If It measures 26" it could be either a 23.1-26 or 28l-26,the difference being the first numbers are the rim width and a 23.1 would work for you, just a bit narrower so it would be a good spare that you could run without causing any harm.

Thanks guys. I just hate to spend $3K on a new tire if I dont have to. I'm getting a boot put in the flat today to "get by" if it will work and maybe pick up the used tires and rims this weekend.  Got a bunch of wood on the ground and dont need any down time.  Thanks again.
