Is anyone doing any timber frame or log building in a 50 mile or so radius
from Annapolis,Md?  I have 6 weekends to spend in Annapolis between
now and Feb.  My wife is attending a Chiropractor Assist. certification
class and I'm going to be bored out of my mind.  I spent this past weekend
there and there isn't much to do that interests me.  I'll gladly lend a free
hand on any projects.  Thanks, Mike

If you go to the TFG (Timber Framers Guild) website and click on the "resource guide" icon you can follow the links to the guide's search page. There you can enter timber frame companies and your state and get a list of all the companies in that area who are listed with the guild. You could try contacting one of them and ask if they are doing anything within your time table.
And/or post your question on the guild forum site......

Are you going to be in the Annapolis area Sunday 9 October?  There is an Apple Harvest Feasible going on at Graves Mountain Lodge, way over in Syria, VA – about 140 miles/2.5 hours WSW of Annapolis.  My place is just up the river – sawmill, dog and all.  Give me a PM and I'll give you a phone number where we can talk.
