Title: PH 360 depth of cut
Post by: Doug Wis on April 18, 2012, 11:53:14 PM
Planed some pine 2x today. Can't get it to take enough off the bottom side .I believe that the bottom depth of cut is controled by the  infeed table. had it all the way down and adjusted the tilt both up and down with very little change. Could it be that i need more preasure on the feed rolls? have never adjusted them from the factory settings. We haven't planed all that much, but don't remember having this problem at first. Thanks for your thoughts.

The 1st thing to check for is dull knives. No need to adjust the feed rolls.

Thats probably the problem. They need grinding and I was trying to squeeze one more job out of them. Thanks
