M 14 Production Year?

All,
Sorry if answered elsewhere but I can't find.  Anyhow, I recently purchased and got an old TimberKing (Foley or Belsaw) M 14 running with Serial # F4596 on the riveted manufacturing tag.  All my friends keep asking 'when was it made'?  I've searched forums and called TimberKing directly but can't find any info on production years other than 'up into the 1990s'. 

Anyone got info or a resource to find such?

Bought a new one in '79, have to look for serial no. At that time they didn't have the steel base available. My guess would be mid eighties.

A friend has a mid 80's, all steel, I'll try to grab a number next time I'm over there. Mine is '93 IIRC, production ended about 2-3 years later. Where is the number located?
