630 carb on a 268

I got a Jred 670 that needs a p/c. I am going to put an aftermarket 268 p/c on it. Wanting to know if a carb from a 630 will work as the 630 uses the plastic intake block like the 268 uses.

Yes...if you dig thru those old threads I stuck together last year this time...I think I blended pretty much everything with everything in that line so far including the last 272XP top end on a 266 using its carb & muffler...the 266 is a 50mm closed port cylinder like the 670..the 630 is also a closed port..I've stuck 268 barrels in 272 saws and used all the carb setups..they all mix and match..a little tweak here, helicoil there, drill out a hole now and then...but that entire class of saw, 630 thru 670, 61 Rancher thru 272XP can be made to blend.
