I have come upon a can car skidder maybe a C4. It has 12 lug rims and the planetary cover says Taylor and has a circle of 12 bolts around with an inner circle of 8. I am wanting to know if the front and rear differentials will work on my 208e TJ without modifications? Thanks

Bjt,

I recently tried to swap axle parts from a Can Car axle to my 330 TJ and here's what I found. The planetaries, axles etc were all a direct match and fit perfectly. The issue was the differential. The pinion shaft in the CanCar was longer than mine even though the ratio was the same. My driveshaft didn't have enough spline to shorten up to fit the longer pinion shaft. The casing was also different bolt pattern and shape, so I would have had to pull all components out of the CC and re-assemble in my TJ casing. No idea if this helps or not......
