Anyone ever try to make skidloader tracks out of chain?

No but a guy I used to milk for bought a "standard" (or whatever you want to call them) set of tracks for his Bobcat, I hated them and would much rather been riding on the tires, chains might be a lot different though  ???.  I honestly think it got around a lot better without them, even pushing snow in the yard just my .02 worth but would like to know how it works out if you do it.

The few times I've been in a skidloader with metal tracks, I wasn't impressed.  I have set of chains I made fit my tires and they really help. Just wondering if anyone ever tried it.

I run a skid loader with chains most of the time. Just on the back. It makes a world of difference, like a bigger loader. I bought good chains and try to keep off of cement . If it is muddy, still can get around.  Raider
