I've been contacted to ship 6/4 Hickory to a company in England who makes long bows. I'm trying to come up with a quote but I have no idea on how to set up shipping over seas. Anyone have any experience with this or any ideas on how to start looking?

We have used BAX, DHL, FEDEX Freight, UPS Freight. Or you can check with Freight forwarders.

I have used a company called Kuehne & Nagle for overseas. Check them out on their web kuehne-nagle.com . They can get you a quote and they are all over the world.Hope this help you.

Be sure you investigate the requirements for shipping wood products to England.  It may require a phytosanitary certificate to enter the country.
